Show navigationWhat primary documentation does GlobeTax require?
- Form 8802: IRS request form authorizing the Internal Revenue Service to issue a Certificate of Residency (IRS Form 6166) to GlobeTax. The second page needs to be signed and dated.
- Limited Power of Attorney: Permits GlobeTax to lodge tax reclaims (limited ONLY to tax reclaim services). The form must be signed and notarized.
- IRS Power of Attorney: Used specifically with the IRS. Authorizes GlobeTax to sign the Certification of Residency Form Application 8802 on behalf of clients.
- German Declaration Form: Authorizes the relevant ADR depositary bank to pursue an accelerated tax reclaim process with the German Tax Authorities.
